On Jan 15 I had my RNY done in Mexico. One amazing thing, well actually two: no hunger (I don't remember a time ever when I wasn't hungry or didn't want food), Also, before my surgery I had had Type 2 Diabetes for about 15 years. Since the surgery I have not taken any Metformin or Avandia and my blood sugars have been normal. That is enough reason to have the surgery alone.

Anyway, my journey is in progress.

Hi

I did have a good experience. I am so glad that it if done and I feel really well, except for a tender belly. I had it done in Torreon. Definitely not a tourist town and not on the ocean, but very interesting. I had planned to stay until Jan. 24, but by the Thursday I wanted to come home and my travel companions were bored, so we flew home two days early on the Friday.
My doctor was Dr. Campos. A very nice man and really seems to know his stuff.

When are you flying down?
