My Surgery Date is Booked for Feb 24!
AntonellaN74,
It is normal to be nervous. Any surgery is not a decison that is taken lightly. Just think of the new weight loss journey your are about to begin!!
Keep up with the posts on the forums. All the people on here are very honest and do not mind sharing their experiences with their own weight loss surgeries.

Is your Dr a Biariatric Surgeon or a General Surgeon and has he/she done many of your type of surgery? All very important things.
As a nurse, I know that I made sure that I have an extremely experienced Biariatric surgeon who has done many, many surgeries with an excellent sucess rate.
I think that everyone is responsible to do their own checking (it is your life) and not just rely on information from whichever doctor/hospital/clinic they attend.

I think their first surgery was done in September 2009 and it has been a success ever since. They made me feel warm and welcomed when I went for both the seminar and consult! I got to meet with the surgeon, nutritionist and therapist! I even met some of their clients while waiting and many are here on the forum! Good luck with your decision!
