Ist consult with Amson this Thurs... advice please!

I have my first appointment with Dr. Amson this Thursday after 2+ years of waiting and as you can imagine, my nerves are working over time!

I have been reading the forum for sometime and you all have such great advice. Could someone who has been to Dr. Amson pass along some recent info/experiences?

I have done all the pre-req tests that his office directed my doctor to have me complete and with the advice from this forum, I've written the letter of why I want the surgery (although it needs serious editing!). Is there something that I'm missing? Or that I should be aware of that is important? Do patients usually bring a loved one with them for moral support? Any good hotel suggestions? Should I have copies of all my med. history - he would have that, wouldn't he?

Any info would be great - I know he's just moved offices so if there's a trick to getting there, that would be great too! As you can tell, everything's making me nervous about this - it's been such a long wait!
