What is the average current wait time with Dr Tang?

4-6 weeks if you are paying.

What if it is being covered under medical?

Two years, I think.

my wife got her appt with Dr Tang in less than 5 mths and we're from out of province

For the actual surgery, I'm sorry to tell you your going to be looking at LEASE a year from the time you see him.

I'm on Dr A's waiting list (3+ years) and Dr R (Dr. M)'s for almost a year now. I was SUPPOSE to get surgery this month or early next month but last I heard it won't be until at LEASE January thanks to the Olympics and cutbacks.

Remember though, it's not the doctor's waiting list that's so bad, it's VIHA that screw us.

From the time of my GP referring me to Dr Tengs office to the first consult with him was 3 weeks and my surgery for LB was booked within 5 months. (I am paying for it myself).
