Counsellor- Food Addictions

Hey All

I was wondering if anyone has found a counsellor that is covered by medical. I would like to go but the cost is more than I can afford.  I need something that is covered by bc medical or a free service. I know it's unlikely, but i Figured that if anyone would know it would be you guys.

Im not sure where you live, but there are places called Family Support Services that do counselling, also you can try through the Salvation Army as well, they do counselling.

Your GP should be able to refer you to someone that does counselling.

thanks suzane! i live in vancouver.. i will look up the family support services. thanks so much for your help!!

You might try Elizabeth Fry Society as well.  Also, I would phone the crisis line and see what they give as a suggestion.
