Dr Rusnak

Hello,

Does Dr Rusnak only offer the Lap RNY proceedure? I know about Dr Amson doing VSG so I was wondering if Dr Rusnak did also?

Yes Dr. Rusnak does the Roux-EN-Y lapriscopicly. Not sure if Dr. Rusnak does the VSG you could call his office and ask to speak to has assistant and ask her.

I had my surger three weeks ago with him, but mine was done open due to complications.

My surgery ended up having to be done open instead of lap.  I had diarreha and nausea afterwards but this is not the norm.  I think because of the antibiotics I was on and once changed antibiotics things settled down.  I also am in need of a hysterectomy so had to get the surgery done soon in order to get the weight off for the hysterectomy as well as for my health.

Dr. Rusnak is a fantastic surgeon and cares so much about his patients.
