Dr. Rusnak, does he do revisions and open gastric bypass

Has anyone had a revision done open by Dr. Rusnak. What about Dr. Amson?

My first consult is on Wednesday with Dr Rusnak...if I remember I could ask if he does open revisions.
Who knows when Dr R is actually going to retire though....

could also try just calling the office and speaking with the lady there...they're super nice.

How did your appointment with Dr. Rusnak go?  I have an appt. to see him in January and just wondered what I should look forward to.  Got any input?

It went good, he's super nice and softspoken.
Like most surgeons, he likes when people come prepared and educated on the procedure.  I brought with me a list of questions to ask about the surgery, like the different things different surgeons do, and how he does it (ie removal of gallbladder, use of drains, etc)

Got called today my Terri (his secretary) letting me know of the testing I could get done in my area so I didnt need to come all the way to Vic to get done, so I go see my dr tomorrow to get referrals to get those tests (pulminary function and overnight oximetry)

How long did it take for you to get in to see dr.rusnak for a consultation, and then after that how long till surgery??  my email address is [email protected]
