I declared my out of country surgery on my taxes....it was accepted!

Just wanted to let you all know that I declared my VSG ($10k) on my income tax return, and they did query it, but we found out today that they have allowed the deduction!!  We are celebrating!

I was able to write off  the cost of my surgery, my airfare to mexico and back and my hotel charges.  

I just found out that I shoudl be able to write off the cost of my BA/BL that I am having done in Mexico later this month on my taxes next year as well.  My Dr says its medically necessary due to my weight loss...
