3 Month Check Up

Hello Everyone I just had my 3 month check up. It was pretty good. Down 62 pounds 10 points off on BMI. I do have scar tissue in my pouch, only trouble is Medical won`t pay to fix it in Seattle. I have to see my doc and see if he will sent me to a specialist who is willing to use a pediatric scope . If not then I would have to apply again for out of country. I`m not to worried because I can eat now and keep it all down. Oh well such is lofe LOL. Take care and I will talk to you all later Sharon

Congrats on your weight loss, way to go!! Why did you get scar tissue in your pouch? Was it from something else? Or was it due to the WLS? Just wondering. I'm glad you can eat now, I know that feeling well when you can not eat. Take care, Sim

Hi Sim I was just like all of you. My family doctor sent me to Dr Meneghetti because he thought Meneghetti did gastric bypass. Just like you he filled out my out of country application. Scar tissue is one of the complication you can have after the surgery Well I have to go now and phone MSP to find out why a doctor is allowed to refuse treatment to someone who had surgery out of country.
