Update on Bobby

Spoke to Bobby today in his room. He had a very long surgery due to the size of his liver that was one a half times the size it should have been and his sugar levels shot up to 19 during the surgery which is very high but it is now around 9 which is better as Bobby has diabetes but overall he sounded great. Dr. Hunter was still able to do the WLS laprascopically which was great to hear. He is such a fantastic surgeon. He is having some pain and lots of gas which is to be expected but he went for 4 walks today down the halls. Sim

thanks Sim, you truly are an Angel. thanks everybody else for your well wishes, i'm doing ok although i never expected recovery to be this rough. i have a new found addiction to water/ice chips and dont really feel like eating anything other than water, it's just so refreshing in my mouth.
