OT visiting Vancouver

I am coming your way from Texas in July. My friend and I are teachers and received a grant to attend a conference in Vancouver. We are pumped but would love insight on what to see and do? Any info is appreciated!!! what do you suggest to get around town rent a car, taxi, bus, ect????? We are clueless. THANKS SO MUCH!!! Brenda

my Dh is from houston texax and speak english better than me ;) i will be in vancouver at the end of june for the summer, when do you think you will be here ? i haven't visit lot of place here, and i will enjoy to discover with friend cheers
