New Chair for the VCH

Hi Everyone, I received this email today from Vancouver Coastal Health Authority and thought everyone should know in case your plans were to attend on Feb 21. You may be aware, Mr. David Thompson was appointed as VCH Board Chair on January 24th. He is new to VCH and currently spending a great deal of time gaining a better understanding of our organizations. As a result, the Board has agreed that it would be inappropriate to proceed with the Open meeting scheduled for February 21st at this time. Due to scheduling conflicts and other commitments, the next VCH Open Board meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 18th at 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The meeting will be held at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre, 5311 Francis Road, Richmond, BC. The agenda will be posted to our website www.vch.ca a few days prior to the meeting. Let's hope this guy has more sense than the previous chair and puts our cause on the agenda. Sarah
