Hi Sally,
I definately understand your frustration. Waiting sometimes makes me feel very powerless. When that happens I try to concentrate on things I can do that make me feel supported and loved. I listen to uplifting music and do some exercise or write in my journal or listen to a meditation CD. When it's warm out I like to plant flowers. As a last resort I will tackle something I have been procrastinating about and get it done. I do whatever I need to do to make myself feel like I have accomplished something for myself and then the waiting doesn't seem as bad.
Every day that goes by is one less day that you have to wait...soon it will be your time for the surgery.
Take care
Janice
