Ok.. we might be running into a problem
3 weeks post surgery and Larrys been on a regular diet for almost a week now. He is complaining that he is still hungry after his 4 ounces.
Im thinking that he needs to get a fill??? I dont think they filled it during surgery, But his appt isnt for 3 weeks! I dont think he can wait that long.. he will drive himself AND ME nuts, and possibly blow his progress thus far.
Suggestions??? Should I try to get him in this week????

The Sun City group is meeting this Saturday in the Sun City Room at the corner of 103rd & Coggins. Meeting time is 10:30 a.m. This is a general support group for everyone.

I see Dr. Michael Underhill. He's with Paseo Docs on 59th between Bell & Union Hills. I know it's a bit far for you but he's great. He's very knowledgeable about WLS and is a big supporter. You can check it out at www.paseodocs.com.

Post Date: 10/2/10 12:44 pm I know this has probably been covered before but ...I have been hearing about people being very disappointed when revising lap band to RNY....slow or no weight loss...This really scares me. I have to have the lap band out no matter what but now I am worrying about revising to the RNY if it is not going to work....Please do not repond with check out the DS I am not interested in it...no judgement...it is just not an option for me. Anyone with this procedure I would love hearing from. Thanks! |

I am only 7 weeks post-op, but down 62 pounds from my highest weight in May '10. This past week I went to my PCP and now have cut one of my pills for High Blood pressure cut out completely and the other pill take half the amount I was taking. My med for the Arthritis pain has only been taken 4 times since May 20th, and my Acid Reflux med I have only needed once a day instead of twice a day!!!! This is the biggest reason I wanted this surgery..........to get rid of all the stinkin" pills!!!!! Starting to feel pretty darn good.

Hiya Pretty girlfriend!
We are having another meeting next month. Our group was small but we had a great time and finally parted in the parking lot around 8:30! LOL!
We're not sure we'll go every month but for now we're planning to do it again in October. .... Still the 4th Tuesday at 6 pm
It was fun to chatter in such a relaxed group......BEST therapy session I've had in months!!!! LOL!
