Chapstick, bottled water and can or bottled protein drinks. I used Proasis 3oz shots from Hihealth to speed healing. good luck and will be thinking of you. Oh and a laptop to let us know how you are? xo nancy

Chef Candy & I are getting the WLS friendly recipes ready to go!!! Going food shopping in the morning to prepare the great dishes we are making. I also just finished putting together the door prize basket!!! So many great things to help you get and stay on the weight loss track after surgery - The support group is open to anyone!!! Looking back ... I wished I would have had an Ipod to listen to Music - it calms me. and also an eye mask to block out light and if you have one thats an Ice pack - even better.
I have learned to take my own chicken broth. and flavored and regular drinking water. in a sport bottle that could lie in bed with me.
dont forget the cell phone charger !!!

Take your favorite lotion. That the hospitals have just doesn't do it. Of Course you need to call your kid so take your cell phone. I also take bottles of water, I'm very picky on what I drink. Who knows how you might react to the strange water, you don't need that.

The one thing I remember that was soooo great to have was a warm robe and slippers! Ohhh, and my toothbrush and hairbrush. Other than that, I really didn't need much else.

I've had enough surgeries that I should "know it all" but..... Scheduled for a Revision to DS NEXT Weds! Yikes! and.....don't know what I'll need when my peepers open after surgery!
