Mi Stephanie!
I'm hoping that you had a chance to check onthe center and have been busy?
I am still looking for a meeting place, and will until we actually find one.

Finished my 5 day. Feel good and it was helpful in getting the weight moving in the right direction.
I'm taking the weekend off but will do it again starting Monday. Need to re-enforce the changes.

Ooops, somehow this got posted above yours so I deleted it and am reposting as a reply directly---
I'm not sure why it was postponed.
I did see that Dr. Husted has moved to Phoenix. He's the only other DS surgeon in AZ that I'm aware of. Do you know of others? I saw one in Tucson but when I called for info, they said they don't actually do the DS.
I've heard a lot of complaints about Dr. Husted that send up some red flags. The reviews I've read on him are all good, but there's a lot of concern about how many times he's moved his practice and how hard he is to reach.
Being in the first group of patients for a new surgery is risky, indeed. There are a lot of things to consider. I have an appointment with Dr. Blackstone and Melissa in September to go over some of my concerns.

Why did she postpone her training ? she was suppose to be done already.
And NEWS flash - there are other Dr's in our state that do the D.S.
Dont know as I would want to be her first ..

Topic: Dr. Blackstone...FYI
Hello my fellow Arizonians :)
I just wanted to spread the word that Dr. Blackstone is going to be heading to NY for training to do the DS surgery in November FINALLY!
If any of you are like me and want the DS but would prefer not to travel out of state for it...your wait will soon be over!

Hi Joyce!
I have been stocking up my "thin boxes" for a while now! And MOST of my stuff is super dirt cheap! JC Penny sends me coupons for $10 off a $10 purchase, probably at least 1 a month. So whenever I get one I go and find something on clearance and pay about 7 cents, if that. I've found things that are just under $10 and if the cashier is nice they'll just charge me $10 for it so I can get it free :)
I also love Old Navy's $2 shirt sale and always get a few when they have it.
Fashion Bug has also started sending me $10 off a $10 purchase and since the one by me carries misses clothing also, it means another free thing for my thin box!
I am also signed up at PinkNation.com (Victoria's Secret) and OFTEN get coupons for a free pair of panties, I swear I don't think I'll ever have to buy panties again!
In terms of regular priced clothing stores that just have awesome prices I am LOVING Charlotte Russe (I probably spelled that wrong) and Forever 21. Not all the clothes at Forever 21 are teenager-ish.
And I always look at the clearance sections online. Since I'm not at my goal size I refuse to pay full price for anything right now.
My best advice for anyone is to sign up for emails to any store that you like and you're pretty much guaranteed some kind of coupon or discount on a regular basis. I set up an email address specific for this sort of thing so I don't have to worry about constantly getting ads on my regular email.
Be sure to add a little black dress to your shopping list!!

I'm 3 days in the 5 day test. I may extend it. My mental hunger in the evenings is starting to subside. Feeling better and have starting dropping those 5 lbs I put back on.
