I have a date!

Hi, everyone! My name is Karen, and I am fairly new to the site. I will be having WLS with Dr. Villares on May 22nd. I live in Tucson, and I was wondering how many support groups that you all might know of here. I would really like to attend a few before my surgery to get the hang of it and meet some new people. I don't have an "angel" or any WLS pre or post-op friends, and I would like to email back and forth, if you are interested. Thanks so much to everyone! Love, Karen

Congratulations! There is a WLS support group page through Yahoo Groups. Just go to their website and type in "Tucson WLS". All the information is on that page. They've got several throughout town. Also, there are some through St. Joseph's Hospital as well. Jen
