WLS Support Groups in Glendale Area

Hi All - I'm looking for a support group in the Glendale Area. Any body have any contacts? I'm truly freaking and my dear husband is very supportive but not totally clued into what this is all about. I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks bunches!

i know there is a glendale/west side support group...but i don't know where it is. sorry. BUT, the support group i go attend is twice a month and it is the phoenix obesity help support group and it is usually the first and third saturdays of the month at the cholla library which is at metrocenter mall near the peter piper pizza. all are welcome to attend this support group! preops, postops, support people etc. hope to see you there! oh and they are at 10:30 a.m. till about noon. and sometimes we go out to lunch after wards and we do a clothing exchange in the odd months. brandy

Hi!!! There is a Glendale/West Valley support group that meets at the YWCA at 59th Ave/Olive (just south of GCC on 61st Ave) on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month from 6:30pm-8:00pm. I also lead a Phoenix WLS support group that is for pre-ops and post-ops and family members/support persons can also attend. We normally meet at the Cholla Library by Metrocenter, but they are closed for remodeling ALL of November.
