Well, I will be going back to work p/t beginning 9/14/05. I'm a bit scared about going back to work since I'm still experiencing major fatigue. I do realize that since I'm not on any carbs...that is part of it. I did get some samples of various protein drinks today...which will hopefully help a bit. Anything else I can do or try?

I would try to stay active now for the hours you will be working. This way your body is used to the activity by the time you go back.

I went back to work part-time after 2 weeks of being home after surgery. I made sure I packed plenty of high protein foods for the day. I drank my protein shake (53 grams) on the way to work. I would have some yogurt, cottage cheese, cream of chicken soup, and maybe a string cheese. This helped me alot. It gave the energy to get back in the swing of things. I drank mostly water in between. Take it slow your energy will come back. Remember protein will help you out alot. Hope this helps. Keep up the good work. Cynthia
