Medical Tourism

Anybody hear anything about having surgical procedures in Thailand or India? I've heard some good things but want input. I KNOW it sounds strange, but read this article. http://www.newstarget.com/007097.html

60 Minutes did a piece on it a few months back. Mexico and Costa Rica are also becoming big destinations. It's sad that most of the people going to these places can't afford to get surgery in their own country, but a good thing it's available to them. It's strongly recommended that you research the facility and the doctor well, but then I would also do that in the US. Which surgery are you thinking about getting? - Stephanie J
