This is what I've heard. Insurance companies are more likely to cover plastic surgery if it has been documented in your medical records that you want it (just mentioning it at your visits). And if your doctor agrees that it is medical necessity - like you are having back pain from sagging stomach skin, or rashes (intertrigo) in skin folds often. I've had that even now during summers, so that's already in my file. So just mention it to your doctor at every visit, even if that's not the reason of the visit. Mention it so it's documented.
