GAS??!!!
Any activity that requires swallowing takes some air down with it, but drinking seems to take in more than swallowing food simply because we have to swallow more often in order to drink. I think that's the short answer anyway. Are you early out? Everything seems to create belching in the beginning, but it gets better as the pouch heals and stretches a little. - Stephanie J
This seems to be normal with post-ops from what I've heard. My best friend had WLS in January and had major gas problems the first few months , but now it's just burps or hiccups after she eats. They are quiet though and unnoticable. She said it's also normal. so I'm not sure why this happens though, or if it's going to be a LIFETIME FOREVER thing or what. Anyone know?
