another post for Juarez patients

I have another couple of questions. Does Dr. Juarez request a catheter? Does he require a Blood Gas test as part of pre-op? I am clueless about these tests and would like any information on what has to be done before surgery with his patients. Thanks!

Hi April, I had Dr. Juarez. He is very good..I have no complaints. His office will set you up with pre-op testing about 3 weeks before your surgery. I had an upper GI, EKG, Blood Work, and met with a Resperatory Therapist. I did not have to have blood gases taken. Your last post asked about a waiting list....well, good luck with that. I was told they have one but it has lots of people on it in hopes of a sooner date. I know it is frustraing to wait. I started my process last March, got a date in August for Feb. I waited 6 months for my surgery. I thought it would never happen, but it did...*Big Smile* Best of Luck to you!! Take Care, Wendy T.
