Need CIGNA HMO PCP who is WLS friendly

Hi all, I am new to Cigna HMO and need a PCP who is WLS friendly. I do not want to start a hunt for a doctor and see many who are going to not recomend me for surgery. Thanks for any help. Tanya

Most of Cigna PCP's are WLS friendly, it is Cigna as a company that is denying EVERYONE. You can try my PCP which did refer me, her name is Ellen Hand and she is in the Sun City office.

Dr. Roberto Ruiz. Sorry, don't have his number now, but he is in the Cigna directory. He is VERY WLS friendly. Don't think he is the best listener in the world, but I am going to try to overcome that cause his office is so on the ball, and I generally like him. Good luck! Jessie S.

Tanya, My DR is Don Barlow at 43rd Ave and Northern. He's very WLS friendly and in fact suggested it to me. He'll write the letter for you and make the referrals, but you kind of have to stay on top of it. Good Luck! Connie
