For AZ patients with AHCCCS

I'm asking fo a friend, so please forigve me for no having all the details. She has one primary on, AHCCCS is the second, and of course Medicare part D. I was wonderinf ifshe wuld be avoe to have surgery wih Dr. Keshishian. I'm so exited because I was hoping we could road trip. Thanks!

  Why  go out of state -- you have a lot of good Dr's  here in AZ who accept insurance. from Flaggstaff to Tucson . I cant imagein the exspense  and if you run into trouble - then what do you do ?? 

I would suggest rethinking that decision and do some more research...

I have mercycare(AHCCCS).  My surgery was covered 100%. If you or anyone you know is considering WLS it would be wise to get the ball rolling asap. There is a good chance WLS will be excluded this oct.

Yes i am mercy care plan. i had a denial, and sent my appeal in March 1 2011. Just waiting for approval. I was thinking that it may come to the surgerys not being covered. I think I am still in the clear. Did ya just recently have your WLS?

Yes I am replying to my reply from yesterday. I got the call I am approved and am in cloud nine. so thanks for all your help on OH. will post my update when I get the date set. Blissful in Bisbee!

 
Is it a revision?  If not, why travel?  Not really a wise idea if she can stay locally.

I guess your friend would have to get approval first to go out of state. That's the battle I'm fighting now. Nice you want to road trip with your friend and all, but getting your surgeries coordinated might be tricky. Good luck though!
