Approved for Revision to DS!!!

Appealed the denial and WON!!! 

....just waiting for the call back with the surgery date then I'm headed to Dr. Keshishian in CA to get a life!!!!  I've taken the long rough path to finally get a DS....Proximal Rny to Extended Rny ......If only I'd  have known then what I know now I could have skipped years of miserable!

I'll take all the prayers and good wishes I can get!  I'm sure my insides are a challenge at best!!!!

It scares the bejeebies out of me
but I've gotta take the chance for a better quality of life!!!

Congratulations, Joyce!! I know you've had a lot of difficulties with your extended RNY - hopefully this will resolve your issues. I love my DS and I'm sure you will too.  I also wish I would have done this the first time, though I started with the band. There is NO comparison!
