Here we goooooo.....

It's me Gwynn in Tucson! I have been trying to get approved for a revision with
Dr. Schlesinger  since last year!   I tried four times when I had Great West insurance. Four denials later......and after we switched our insurance to UHC.....I got the call...

.....from JEN!! I have been APPROVED for my revision! FINALLY!
 
It was very hard for me to BELIEVE her....poor thing had to try CONVINCING me for at least 20
minutes! LOL. My date is set for Monday, Dec. 7th. Have to be at hospital by
5:30am! I wanted early..early I got!

Now just to get all the details in order. So much to do! We will have to come up
the night before.....then I imagine be there in PHX. for almost a week!

I am SUPER EXCITED........but, I'll admit, now that it's a reality, lil bit
nervous and scared. I know thats normal. Just like the first time around. I've
only had one surgery in my life and it was WLS...now gettin ready to do my
second one. wow. But I see my future and in it I have finally gotten to a
healthy BMI goal weight.


I want to thank Jen and all her helpers. I love Jen (for many reasons!)  for all her hard work and DEDICATION in stickin' it out with me AND my husband (very stressful for him as
well watching me be denied four times AFTER we pay a pretty penny to be
insured!)      I had given up. I'm leaving a lot of painful experiences out of those four
denials......but, time to move ON!

Soooo, now, well soon anyway, I will actually be ONE OF YOU LOSERS!! LOL I've
always wanted to be one of you losers!!

I was denied too Michele.  It turned out to be a better deal for me....new insurance, different surgeon and happily ever after!

They say it aint over til the "chubby" lady sings, right?
