I thought it was funny
Had my lapband surgery by Dr. Juarez on Friday. Piece of cake. Had to spend the night at the hospital because of Medicare rules. I couldn't sleep so was up walking every 2 hours.
At dinnertime I had visions of sugarplums dancing in my head. Or at least of nice hot chicken broth. But what did my wondering eyes behold? 1/2 ounce of jello and 1/2 ounce of juice. that is just about 1 tablespoon. the kitchen gal said she always gets embarrassed when she has to give the patients these trays. Had the same meal at dinner, breakfast and lunch.
I just thought it was funny. They even had these little minature plastic containers to hold the "food"
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. I will have be having chicken broth for Christmas dinner.
