Delicious Experiment
Soooooo I wanted something warm for breakfast (these chilly mornings in double digits...brrrrrrr)......soooooo, I experimented.
Made up 1 serving of Steel Cut Irish Oats (Trader Joes)
Cooked per stove-top directions
sprinkled generously with ground Flax
sprinkled generously with cinnamon and Brown Sugar Splenda
Dash of vanilla
Stirred in Banana Scream Protein drink made with 1 1/2 scoops protein and just enough water to make it creamy.
This was like every taste of Holiday happening at once!
about 250 calories so it's definitely a meal
over 30 grams of protein
fiber plus plus plus plus
Good for YOU stuff! Very delish in a "comfort foods" kind of way!
