Belly button pain??

Hey guys.  Just curious if anyone has experienced pain around their belly button?  This is not exactly on my belly button but maybe about an inch or so over.  You can feel something hard and round, almost like a dime just below the skin.  Its very painful.  I have felt all along that its bruising below but nothing has surfaced in 3 weeks (color) and the pain has stayed the same for about 2 weeks.  It pretty much hurts anytime I move, cough etc.  Anyone experience this? Lyns, You could have pulled the stitch or muscle where there is an incision.  Have it checked out if you don't know what it is.   Sometimes they sew through the muscles. Deanne

Lynn's, it sounds like your doctor pulled a fast one on you and you had Lap Band installed. That round hard spot is the port...   LOL... Sorry I can't be of any help as I know you had RNY...
