Had my pre-op class fun!! Whats next?

Hey guys.. I had my pre-op class yesterday and it was a lot of fun.. You guys are right that brocoli salad was awesome!!  There was probably 7 or 8 of us and only 2 of us brought someone with.  It was so much information i went home and slept!  LOL no joke I think I was on sensory overload.. Tonight I am going to read everything.. I got my pre-op labs in the mail.. But one thing thats confusing.. DO i have to have those labs done before the pre-op appointment with blackstone? Becuase if so I think they put the wrong dates on there..  The hospital is very nice and I cant wait for the massage and facial I jokingly looked at my mom and said well this is worth it right here.. LOL  The meditation part was kinda weird but besides that everyone is so nice!  Its worth the wait for the staff and doctor.. I have never met so many nice people.. You can tell they love their job!   Does anyone know if my labs need to be done before I meet with her dr. 

P.S.  Lyns you are awesome and so right about the valet parking!!! It was so easy!

Drama  It all depends on when your surgery is,, My guess is that your good to go... Did anyone call to review them with you ?  Now is the worse part ... The Wait !! dont dont worry  - you will soon be on the loosers bench !  And Yes I agreeeeeee Dr B was worht the wait ! she did my first surgery and was awesome. 

Your labs must be done 30 days prior to surgery.   So usually sometime during that 4th week they want you to do it.  For example...my surgery is June 3rd so I had to get my labs done between May 3rd and May 7th.  The dates will be in your pre op packet.  I know Dr. B really wants to see the results of those labs when she meets with you so you better call them.  I am fairly certain that there might be a problem if you are booked with her first. Typically you meet with Dr. B between 2 and 3 weeks before surgery.  A large part of the meeting is going over your labs.  Its only about 15 mins and its mostly a meet and greet and Q & A.  I know the meditation thing was bizarre ha ha.  Not bad...just weird.  ha ha.  Did you feel the class was a bit long?  Lyns

I will have to call them then. I just dont want to go the appointment and them rescheduling me because they dont have my tests..  Yes the class was a bit long especially in my surgery schedule that was sent to me said it only was until 1:00pm.. so my mom and I were going why are we still here? LOL  But it was fun..
