who does the blood test and whats tested?

I am going to bridges on the 9th of may. If anyone else is going on that day let m know!, i have a cardiologist ap on the 27th my question is who does the blood test and when? what do they test for? im a bit confused as im new to all this

I am not sure who or what is "bridges."  I know for me, my surgeons office gave me all of my paperwork for lab work.  I went down to the hospital actually today and then again tomorrow to get all of my pre op testing done. Now, if you have not been approved yet and you are trying to get bloodwork etc done to help build your case then you speak with your PCP. If you have a date and you are wondering about your PRE OP testing, your surgeons office must give you the orders and direct you on where to go and when.  You will likely have a 12 hour fasting test as well.  Every hospital and surgeon have different requirements...
