Hi Kathy, Try this website: http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm This should tell you what your daily maintenance calorie intake once the malabsorption heals.  I was given a www.drsimpson.com, but, I couldn't find the calorie index there anylonger.    If you have a nutritionist where you had your surgery they can help you get through the plateau.  We all get to plateaus and I'm assuming that is where you are at.  Write down everything you eat and drink  by food, portion size,  protein, calories, fat and carbohydrates for 1 week.  I know the Bridges Centre recommends 800 to 1200 calories a day, 70 - 100 grams of protein a day, 20 -30 grams of fat and 100-130 grams of carbs a day.  They also recommend 64 to 96 ounces of fluids a day.    I can only get 5 ounces of food in my pouch during meals.   Hope this helps...
