My Favorite things....
I don't often catch daytime t.v. but.....I have loved glimpses of Oprah's show where she shares her favorite things. ....... thought it would be fun if we all share some of ours.......things that help our weight loss journey's go a little better.....Plz add yours to the list....(products, healthy fast fook pics, restaurant pics, recipes, proteins, exercise tips, behavior ideas, positive thoughts, etc.) 1. Chuy's Restaurant (kind of a Biker bar/restaurant) has delish grilled protein options for way under $10. You can get 7 grilled shrimp on a skewer for like $4.00! LOVE IT!!!! 2. Banana Scream by Champion Pure Whey Stack protein mixed with just 6 oz of water and then poured over the top of a big cup of SONI****!!!!! 3. Buying a big bag of turkey jerkey from Costco and then cutting it up with scissors in tiny pieces, measuring some into sandwich baggies and using this as healthy grabs for work. 4. 5. 6..
Tori, I had to try the Lara Bars so picked up 3 flavors from Fry's this morning. I have been nibbling on the apple cinnamonny flavor all day long. Very tastey and very dense!!!! I will save them as treats for when I need something sweet coming home from work. I love that they don't have any sugar or any glutton!!!! Wish they had a zillion more proteins so I could ditch one of my protein drinks....Oh well! Thanks for sharing your faves!

I had the Talapia tonight for dinner. The cheese and lemon together gives it such a different flavor. I usually put some olive oil on the fish and then put it in aluminum foil and add the Old Bay Seasoning and lemon juice. I bake it at 350 for about 10 minutes and then add the cheese on top and just let it melt. Then it is ready to eat. You should be able to eat it when you can do soft foods. Steaming the fish makes it moist.
