What should I bring with me to St. Luke's?
With this issue I feel the less the better. 1) Something easy to to wear home. 2) lip balm 3) pads, tooth brush, underarm care 4) maybe a portable dvd player and some dvd's ( I have one you can use ) It was a saver for me. 5) cell phone with family and friend numbers to call to inform how all is. 6) A pair of house shoes! That's all I took. I thought about taking all my face products and makeup but I didnt think I would be up for it and I wasnt. I cant wait to have you on the losers side! You'll be feeling healthier in no time!

I chased my dreams, and my dreams, they caught me!
I don't have any hair left to braid! LOL I need to update my avatar; I chopped off all my hair and went short again, which is my norm. And I got rid of the ridiculous blond highlights! I was told to expect two nights in the hospital. My surgery is very late in the day, though, so I wonder if that will make a difference. I hope not. If I have to spend three nights, that would have me coming home on Thanksgiving day! My SIL just gave me a fun book to read post-surgery called "Austenland". There seems to be a Jane Austen theme going here!
