Ambien is on the "approved list" of drugs after wls.  That being said, I got scared off of taking it after reading several posts about people doing things they didn't even recall while under its influence.  Everything from eating to driving!  In my case, eating is as dangerous as the driving would be.

Hello,  I take Ambien on a regular basis and am 3 years post op. The only thing it seemed that is different before is it hits me a lot quicker than usual. Enjoy your sleep

Be careful with ambien.  I was night eating and doing very strange things on it.  It does kick in very fast. Deanne
