cardiac clearance

I just went and saw a heart specialist for the cardiac clearance. Why is it some people can get a clearance in one visit and other cardiac doctors want you to see them twice? Mine wanted me to come back take a test on Tuesday and come back and take another test on Wednesday. All I need is a clearance. My EKG is great, I'm not on any medications, and my health is good except for my weight. Does anyone have a cardiac doctor to recommend. My doctor is Juarez. All I really need is the stress test.

Ughh Hubby had a horrible time with the cardiologist he saw too--- everything was fine but the guy said his blood pressure was "borderline" (HUbby had awesome blood pressure for a 520lbs guy, everything else was fine, and his blood pressure wasnt high)--- the guy made him come back several times, take drugs etc... It was all we needed for a date and we got so ticked off, we eventually said to the doctor he needed to give clearance or we would go elsewhere.... Mine was so easy, 1 appt and I was cleared. I can't remember who I saw though, I just randomly picked a cardiologist off my health insurance list. Good luck! I understand how frustrating it can get. Darlene 338/196/170

Hello Pam, Did you, by chance, have the Cardiologist send any results to Dr. Juarez for the test he did do? My original results were sent to Dr. Juarez eventhough the Cardiologist still wants to see me ... and see me ... and see me, hahaha. Poowy, at least I'll know my heart is absolutely, positively, without a shadow of a doubt, ready for surgery!! I'm going to get a clearance letter from the Cardiologist just to make sure I have it! Any other tests you have done? Tell me about every single one of them, k. I'm so nervous!! I'm sick everytime I think about mine!!

Darlene: If you remember your doctor please let me know. I have NO health problems. In fact the doctor said I had a strong heart beat and all looked good. But she still said she wanted a two day test. I asked why and she said that was her procedure. Under Tall: The doctor today did a EKG and general exam. No I did not have them sent since I still need the clearance. Will call and ask them to send along. I'm having a pulmonary test this afternoon. Yes I agree. These test are nerve wrecking. Diane called me today and said my paperwork was sent out on the 7th. I never received it so she's resending out today. Banner called and said they had not received any paperwork from my doctor yet. So I left a message back to Diane to find out why. With the holidays and testing this is stressful.

Just got my pulmonary clearance. Virginia thank you for doctors name. I went to Dr. Azuri office and saw a different doctor. He was the best. He made me feel so comfortable about wls. I feel 100% better. Now just need the cardiac clearance but to be honest I was more worried about the pulmonary test. Still looking for a good cardiac doctor.

Hello. I saw Dr. Ashar in Mesa. He was really very nice and when I told him why I was there for the cardiac clearance he was 100% supportive. It was nice. I did have to go back for a 2nd appointment becasue they needed to do an ultrasound on my heart as well as my neck. But all came out ok and I got my clearance. Good luck!
