From what I've read, Mercy Care is probably the best insurance company you could have through AHCCCS when it comes to approval for WLS. I'm actually hoping to be approved for AHCCCS at my appointment/interview on Tuesday, and I will definately be choosing Mercy Care. Your co-morbidities (what an awful term, btw) sound VERY similar to mine. Diabetes, high blood pressure, PCOS... I've got the same three, plus narcolepsy, high choloesterol and GERD (acid reflux). Here's the Mercy Care reviews here on OH: http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/members/list-insurers.php?State=AZ&curPg=2&alphaPos=M Hope that helps!

Mercy care is one of the hardest insurance plans to be approved by. Check with your surgeons office after your first consult (or call mercy care directly) to get the most accurate information.
