Frustrating

Good Morning Everyone, I went for my follow up with Dr. Fang yesterday, he had taken a biopsy of the Barrett's Esophagus he said I had and everything is okay with that. He suggested that I have Roux-en-Y to correct the vertical band I had 5 years ago. Now I have to sit and wait for his office to contact my insurance that can take up to 4-5 weeks Dr. Fang said the surgery is necessary to correct the reflux that I have and that caused the Barrett's. I hope the insurance will cover it I'm afraid I'm going to have to struggle with them. I understand that he has a very busy office but another month seems like forever.

I agree! I don't understand why it takes their office so long to get the letters transcribed. The letter to my insurance was done in about 4 weeks if I remember correctly. Hang in there!
