Melissa, It sounds like you are using the right amount of time for exercise but maybe you need to intensify your activity. Walk and ride your bike a little faster. Increase it slowly so you don't over do it. Remember whatever the level amount of exercise you do, you will have to do for the rest of your life in order to keep the weight off. Good examples of this is people who play sports and are now retired. Onced they slowed down they gained some weight. Congratulations on all that you have achieved so far. We are all different and lose weight differently. Phyllis P.

Melissa, when was the last time that you lost 86lbs in 6 months??? You have done an incredible job and it sounds like you are doing a sufficient amount of exercise, maybe it's your protein or water intake. A lot of people slow down at 6 months, it's just the natural progession of the surgery. If your body thinks it's starving it will hold on to the fewer calories you do take in, and not let them go. From your pictures you have done an amazing job in the last 6 months and you should be very proud of your success. You are lighter than you were before you had surgery, you are obviously healthier than you were before surgery, so you are definitely headed in the right direction. Keep up the good work, and 8.5 lbs is great to lose for one month, don't let anyone take that away from you. Best wishes on your continuing journey. Alli
