Just getting started-Questions

Hi, I am new to the site and am looking for thoughts and comments on Lap-Band surgery. I am making an appt with Dr. Terry Simpson soon for a semiar and would love to hear about the pro's and con's anyone has experienced with this procedure and or this doctor. this looks like a great site and I think I could sit here for hours and read!! :-) thanks for your help Kat

Im not a Lap Bander... But Ive met Dr Simpson, and he is very nice. He has an excellent office--- his staff are awesome... Joyce, Christine & Darci rule! They will take awesome care of you. Dr Simpson also has a message board on his website, he posts there all the time along with patients... you should check it out. Joyce runs the Chandler WLS Support group, Christine goes sometimes... you should come sometime! 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, 6-7.30pm @ Chandler Regional Hospital on Dobson & Frye.
