Fosamax---Is anyone here taking it?

On top of my low iron and my ulcer....I now ostopenia....the prelude to osteoporsis.....ok my spelling is bad...but everyone knows what I mean....anyways...is anyone taking fosmax. I am sure my bone loss is having a total hystercomy 7 yrs ago...not taking estrogen and adding WLS surgery...so a double whammy for bone loss. I am not sure with the ulcer...i am still taking Nexium and Carafate...daily...if I should do Fosamax until after the ulcer has healed. Is there any other type of liquid high absorable Rx calicum my Dr. can order. I called Dr. Fang's office this AM---spoke to Emile...they advised me to go PCP ASAP....but not take Fosamax while I have an ulcer situation. WLS is not an easy road and after care is not easy either. Sandy
