Hi, everyone! I'm Tami a 29 year old mother of two. I have tried for weight loss surgery for several years and finally got approved! I'm having open gastric bypass surgery March 8th with Dr. Baker. I remembered Susan mentioned this website several years ago and decided to come along. I have wanted this surgery for so long and while I'm excited having the date set I'm not nervous. So, I will be reading a lot not sure I have a lot to add to any conversations yet :)

We have insurance approval!! I'm waiting for Holly to call to give me a surgery date - sometime in March. She had to leave early today and will be in late tomorrow (dammit, doesn't she know it's all about ME today?!?) but I will have a date by this time tomorrow.OMGWTFPMPBBQ!!!

Well I go see the PS on the 23rd. After the surgery in Nov. I said I didn't want to see another surgeon or have another surgery but I am actually kind of excited for the new changes.
Success means allowing GOD to make the necessary changes in your life

(I have a Katie, too - she's going to be six on Friday. She's a wonderful, sparkly little Peanut, and I can't imagine life without her.)
