Hey Mama,
Im sorry to hear about your health issues, but sooo proud you were approved for the plastics.
Please take care of you and the kidneys. My mom is a dialysis patient, and I have a kidney disease called Polycystic Kidney Disease. We have a GREAT God sent doc in Little Rock. He is a nephrologist. (Deals w/disease of the kidney) His name is Kevin Heifner. He is absolutely awesome. My urologist in Little Rock is Walt Stallings, a wonderfully intelligent doc. Please keep us posted. We will be praying for you, knowing the HE can handle anything.
Much love,
Rhonda
P.S. If the Queens rump is white, I could be a queen as well!!!

I really don't know. The kidney problem just came up. I have an appointment with the urologist on Monday. It started with my right leg going numb so I figured something shifted on to a nerve with the weight loss. The doc sent me for the MRI an they discovered a disk herniation and a large cyst on my right kidney. I am not worried I gave it over to God and expect Him to work it out.

Tell me you're okay!! This is scary stuff, but after thinking a minute, I realized you wouldn't be cleared for plastics if there were other problems hanging around.
So, are you alright??
So, are you alright??

I am hanging in here. I was going to ask if you peeked. LOL After VBS I thought I was going to rest but not so. I had a MRI my back which revealed some disc issues and a a large cyst on my kidney. I guess I had to get rid of all the fat for these other problems to show up. I figure there is nothing that God and I can't handle. I miss you guys!!!! As for the Queen I lived in Holy Loch Scotland and attended school in London based on all of her visible parts her butt is sho nugh white LOL

Topic: RE: Last ten pounds, ARRGH
You hit the nail on the head. I feel the exact same way. I find myself eating 6 small meals a day. I think it keeps my sugars level. I will eat fruit or nuts or a protein snack between regular meals. I too worry about the grazing. (I just call it snacks, lol) My Nut told me I should cut them out and just stick to the 3 x day. I can't get in enough protein that way though. My pouch still doesn't hold enough to do that and I don't think I want it to. I'm still reeling over that one girl saying she can eat a whole 6 inch subway sandwich, lol. It would take me 4 meals to get one down. Not that I would want to. All that bread seems silly to me. I just try not to eat any unhealthy foods. I'm staying away from anything sweet. I'm afraid if I try it and get away with it I will just have another thing to battle and I don't trust myself. Susan is right, we fought too hard to get where we are. I still have about 30 lbs to go and I haven't lost a pound in going on almost 2 months now. We'll get there.

Thanks Susan. O.K., my calorie intake is sometimes around 1300. I usually try to keep it at 1200 most of the time. I haven't been exercising though. So I figure I need to get off my bumm and get moving. It's been hard after being stopped for a few months along with the heat. I have a plan to start back again this evening after work. I'm going to try the new DVD I got in the AC and see how that goes. I know that it's standard for my older adults to have about 80 gms of protein a day at the nursing home. I'm impressed about the size of your pouch. I hope mine stays small. Do you think that while I'm trying to get off those last pounds I should decrease my calories even more than 1200/day for a bit?
