If anything, I'd say you're not taking enough!!  I'm looking at my bottle of Petites right now, and each pill has only 200 mg calcium.  Four a day ain't quite gonna cut it, sorry.

As for the fatigue, maybe it's an early sign of another deficiency?  Are you doing any B vitamin supplementation?  How about D?  Are you getting enough protein in?  I notice a huge drop in my energy when I have a couple low protein days.

Hi everyone!  OK...I've been listening at the support group meetings and trying to be vigilant about my calcium intake.  I bought some of the Citrucal Petites (which are STILL about the size of horse pills) and I take two in the morning and two at night.  However, I've noticed that since I started taking them I've been SO lethargic and wiped out!!!  Does anyone else have this problem?

The same thing happened when I tried to take zinc (for hair loss) and I just had to stop taking them. I don't know what to do.  Any ideas?  Am I taking too much?  Should I try a different brand?  Help!  I'm practically narcoleptic here!

Aw  Steve, what a friend you are to remember!  Yes, Thursday is the day Dear Henrietta departs this gal's bod, good riddance to her. Surgery is at 9:30 at the Surgical Pavillion at Baptist. Gibbs says it shouldn't even take an hour. I'm expecting to be home for lunch....LOLLOL  Gotta keep positive thoughts, right?

Cleaned like a mad woman yesterday and just have a bit left to do today. I can't relax in a messy house!

You take care!  Thanks for being there, my friend

Yeah, the farther out you are the more creative you have to be to claim those "WOW" moments....LOL!

I'm with Steve, is DH still around???  You're a hoot, Sybul!

Yes, I'm very discouraged by the quietness of the board. Things usually slow down during summer with kids home, vacations and the like. But, this is getting just plain sad!  You're the first to post since FRIDAY for heaven's sake!

Let's try to get it going again. What do you say???

I believe that Henrietta is scheduled to depart from our friend Susan this week on the 23rd.   Is that still on the schedule, Susan?    Surgery at Baptist?

Hope all goes well and please let us know if there is anything you need.

I will lift up a prayer for you on Thursday.   Wishing you all the best.

O.K.  I know everybody is busy with their summer.  I guess that's why NOBODY is posting.  (Including me, lol).  So here's my laugh for the day.  I have been fortunate enough to be married to a very considerate guy for the past 32 years.  But ladies beware, never get too complacent!  I was on call this weekend and had to go in to work the floor due to a nurse calling in.  When I got home I was beat not being used to being on my feet for 8 hrs any more.  I ran for the bathroom because my bladder isn't what it used to be ... (that's another story entirely), jerked those pants down in the nick of time and sat down and,  yep you guessed it.... the seat was up!  This time though, instead of just getting a cold backside, I literally sat down INTO the commode!  I guess I'll take my WOW moments any way I can get them.

Ya'll have a great week!
