Topic: On the other side!
Just thought I'd jump in and let you all know I have made it to the other side A okay!   :-)
I meant to post the night before surgery but my power was out. And just busy getting it all together during the days leading up to surgery on Friday.
Did have the Lap RNY. Was released yesterday (Sunday) afternoon/evening.
Haven't even touched that yucky looking bottle of liquid pain med. Don't really expect to.
So happy to be home.
I think other than some discomfort when I 1st woke up, and some nausea Saturday morning, the back ache from the bed was the worst.
They sure had a nice staff and Dr Gibbs is WONDERFUL!
Looking forward to getting rid of some meds and melting down to a pleasant/comfortable size 10/12.
Thanks for all your well wishes and comments. I'll be here reading!

Good luck Susan!
Sounds like you'll be in and out of there before you can blink.
I understand having to clean 1st too.
The last of my cleaning Thursday night was done in the dark. The short lived storms that came through knocked my power out for 4 1/2 hours.   :-(
I'll be watching for your posts after Thursday.
Oh... and yes, Libby is correct.

Hi everyone,  I am fairly new to the forum.  I had my surgery in June and I have not been very active in messaging.  I am excited to be here.  I hope to make many new friends.

Hmmm, you might want to take another look at the dosage on your Petites bottle, just in case...

Good for you for being so proactive!  How about your Vit D?  Do you take any kind of supplement there?  My levels have been steadily dropping even with the lovely little green pill. :-P

I love a good smoothie in the PM.  I like to make mine with a frozen banana, a few frozen strawberries, some skim milk, and a scoop of protein powder.  Sometimes I'll even throw in a little Splenda, hee hee.  YUM.

I think each of my petites is 600 mg.  I take B-12 shots every other week and I'm fairly anal retentive about getting in my protein, but maybe I need to add some protein powder to something as well.

Thanks Wonder-Wendy!!! (superwoman of fitness)
