Hi there...I'm a fellow Lap-Bander.  I have had some success but I"m a slow loser.  I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have if I know the answer that is... ;)
Welcome to the group.

The rain today was nice.  Kind of messed up the plans to take the kids and drop them off at the pool for a few hours.
I've been home for a couple of weeks now.  I had a badly infected ingrown toenail..just for a toenail and I'm off work for almost 3 weeks because of surgery.  I've mostly been home working on a painting of the Old Mill and not a whole lot else.

Going to Florida this Thursday because my DH's best friend was in a terrible car accident, so we're going to see him.  Hoping he gets the feeling back in his legs.  (puts my little problem in perspective)

Also been hanging around the kids.  I did get to go to see "Wicked" in Memphis with my best girlfriends.  Totally awesome play.   I guess that's about it.

Glad to hear you're doing better Susan.

Good lord, WHY are you posting at this ungodly hour?!?

Kitty (Twinkle, aka Meowser, aka Fluffer Nutter, aka Little Brat) wanted out this AM but was hauling her furry little butt back in once she got rained on, ha ha!  Gaah, I'm tired of the rain already, though it is a good excuse to curl up in bed and do nothing.

Hubby and I ventured out to the lake yesterday.  I ran 3.15 miles and he walked a few.  I'm glad he did, he keeps finding the weight I lose and I know it makes him miserable.  It was muggy outside!  Free sauna for sure.  We came home and watched Gran Torino -- great movie.

Today I want to go to Beef O'Brady's here in Maumelle and get my trivia on at dinner.  Gotta put all my useless knowledge to work.  YEAH BOYYYYY!

Fixin to eat lunch at my desk because a) I cleverly brought it from home and b) I don't want to get any wetter than I have to. Got my hair cut this morning and am pleased with it. Need to find out where the Jonesboro support group meets tonight so I can go and get my attendance sheet signed.

I got up at 4:00am to get ready for work.  Took my pug, Sassy Girl, out for a walk, fed and watered her and then got ready.

Now I'm sitting at work wishing it was time to go home.  I guess I wish my life away.

I can't see the rain because we don't have windows in our building, but every once in a while I go downstairs to look out.  Right now it's thundering really loud so I guess another storm is passing through.

Days like today I wish I could just stay in bed.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.  I have some questions regarding the lapband and weight loss.  I would like to find someone who is an old hand with this surgery to answer some concerns.  Please let me know if anyone out there is willing to talk to me about it.

Kinda nice to see this rain. Haven't had much here lately.  Today I am cleaning out the spare bedroom closet. There is so much stuff crammed in there. I am putting stuff in boxes. Hopeing to have a yard sale when the weather is just a little cooler. This month is flying by. Gotta go to the doctor tomorrow. Oncologist. Once every six months, so not too bad.
Going to the American Idol concert this Saturday evening. Should be fun. Going with my hubby and nephew.
You all have a nice rainy day!!

Just doing my best to stay dry today.   My usual 20 minute commute to the office took an hour this morning - don't know why but the traffic on Maumelle Blvd was at a very slow crawl - 40 minutes to go 3 miles.
I think I will just stay inside today and watch it rain.  Y'all have a great day.

Up and kicking early this morning myself.  Have a grant writing workshop today. I signed up for it before I knew my job was running out, but hey, never know what I'll learn and may find a grant to start something new here in lil ole Fordyce.

Everyone have a great day, hope to see more posting like yesterday!!  Looked great seeing so many.

Hugs,
