Thanks for the great recap Tammy. I'll try to post more often. Just been crazy busy with some stuff, not that that's a good excuse. Y'all are like sisters to me on here. Thanks for accepting a male presense on a mostly female board. You all always make me feel like part of the family.

Dian and I enjoyed our Starbucks visit as well. I really wish we could do it more often, because it is always a great time of visiting with fabulous people.
Started off as a pretty normal weekend. Stephanie and I played golf on Saturday morning, watched some football Saturday afternoon and evening. Church this morning. Then Stephanie wanted me to go play golf with her again this afternoon. I had a roaring headache and really didn't care to go, but when your 23 year old daughter wants you to hang out with her you just can't say no. So off we went to play again this afternoon and guess what. Dad made a hole-in-one! It was my fourth one in 42 years of playing golf. It's been 11 years since my last one. This one is my favorite though, because Stephanie was there to witness it. Needless to say, I'll be in a pretty good mood for the rest of the day, week, month, year, whatever.
Hope everyone has a great labor day!

OK...so I am late.....
here is the week in review.......
Susan......is going to Dallas...hmmm she better stay out of trouble! She and Gary just celebrated 27 years of marriage.....this is a wonderful thing to see in today's society. She, Steve and Dian met up at Starbucks on Friday. She has been busy at work with cuts and colors! Did you ever cut the grass??? Are you still as white as the queens fanny??? Hmmmm did you get dressed today??? Hope you are enjoying your long weekend and feeling better about the last weeks event. Hope Gary is doing well.....kiss Baxter for me....
Sybul......had herself some salmonella....ewww.... she has registered her and her husband for the walk....they may overnight and have a mini get away....oh my! She did some shopping for herself and got some great deals and also did some shopping for her aunt....she has 2 rat terrier pups and her neck is giving her troubles....poor girl is falling apart on us.
Rhonda.....is busy with the horses....sorting clothes from summer to winter and those that fit and don't....she finished a full day of subbing the 3rd graders....and should be riding today in the big show! Lets all wish her luck and cross our fingers. Rhonda....color codes her clothes.....well I have to be honest.....I match my socks, panties and bra to my clothes....I refuse to wear under things that don't match my outer things in some way.....
Mama Peaches.....she is getting a referral for plastics.....yay!!!! She is going to look like a million bucks when the Dr gets done with her....hope you get the approval and get it taken care of. She is trying to outdo me in the newly renovated boobie dept.....hmmm and she wants to hang tassels on hers....hmmmmm...some one is a bit frisky......Maybe once she gets the surgery her back issues will go away....lets all cross our fingers on that too.
Steve....is being the strong silent type this week......he did go with his wife to meet up with Susan at Starbucks.....hope a good time was had by all......hmmmmm maybe Steve is shy!!!! He does not post much.....lets encourage him to do more.....we love you Steve and enjoy the male presence on board.....
NancyPass....has registered for the walk and also has a big barn sale to attend that same day....goodness....she is going to be a busy gal.....I look forward to meeting her at the walk!!! She doesn't post often here and we need to fix that......always enjoyable to hear from our friends!!!
SmilinCourt......girl is being so quite.....must be working out with the exercise tips I gave her....uh oh she is becoming a gym rat......lordie lordie we may never hear from her.....she will get all hot and cuter than she already is and wont have time for us here at OH/AR.....hopefully she is doing well in school and is seeing results on the scale after it stalled.....I am sure it is inches honey. Don't worry.
Wendy_Fou......between home remodeling....daughter cheering.....and son playing football....she is a busy gal......girl weighed in at 126.4....congrats to you girl!!!!!....her intake is well and she is not consuming anything she shouldn't.....she says she has nothing to report....GIRL PLEASE....success is something to report....keep up the good work....and don't worry about not posting we are all busy people and have lives that require us to attend to first....maybe you can just pop in once a week to say hi that way we know you are OK.....

I would but ya know I am an indoor girl.....and not sure I could handle not having my hair straightener.....hope all is well on your end of the journey.....update us more....always a pleasure hearing from you...
xltay.....she has been busy walkin a zillion miles at Sam's....getting ready for a fill on Tuesday...good luck with that....are you coming to the walk? Well keep us updated on how you are doing and how the fill goes. We look forward to seeing your success too....post more often!!!
then there is me.....2 weeks no cokes.....did go to the mall Saturday....enjoyed the day out. I am so far post op I don't have much to post about myself....just my day to day survival....I enjoy reading everyone's posts and remember when I was at that stage.....as for my no cokes....I don't really even want one. I do have 2 in the fridge in case of emergency such as meteors crashing into my neighborhood.......winning the mega millions lottery.....or some other emergency....now that I am comfortable with my cokes being gone.....I think I need to focus on my water intake, food and working out.....I could not make so many changes at one time....
I do hope I have not let anyone down with the update....and if I forgot someone or some important event...please post it........
please be safe, enjoy your holiday, eat right, drink plenty of water. Say a prayer for those in need . Check in when time permits to let us all know you are OK. If you have a question or just need to talk there are many ears to listen.

Topic: Weekend update---what's new review
Hi all!
Friday's Starbuck's chat time was great. Steve, his wife Dian and I were the only ones there, but I completly enjoyed our time together. What a wonderful couple. Having them as friends makes me fell like Arkansas is finally becoming "home". Thanks Steve and Dian!
Yesterday I worked hard. Three color jobs, the work I love most. Great clients who just say " you're the boss, do what you want". Ahhhh, hairdresser heaven!
It was also our 27th anniversary. Wow...time flies. We went to the Faded Rose for dinner and I had shrimp creole...my favorite dish there. I can get at least two meals out of it, and it's so very, very good.
Today I slept until 8:30, a rarity for me, and here I am, still in jammies. Got to get moving though, lots of things to do before my trip to Dallas on Thursday.

You know, everyone needs a day like that now and then. I'm still sitting in my jammies and it's 11:15!!! Yikes! But........I have made breakfast and started on laundry, so I'm not completly worthless..lol

We took a total day off yesterday. No housework, no yardwork, nothing. It was great. A-Z is having a big 3 day sale so we checked it out. They have new jeans for $2./pair at their sporting goods store. I got three pairs. They have expanded so much and there is so much to look at out there now it would take half the day to go through all the stores. I found a new set of scrubs for $7 and got a dozen pairs of anklet socks for $2.50. That was fun. Today I am going to deep clean my kitchen and living room and call it good. My neck has really been giving me trouble this past week. Getting older sucks sometimes, lol. My chair is not working right at work and when I sit in it, it sinks all the way down to it's lowest position. So I sit in front of my computer all day too low craning my neck which already has a compressed C2 and the start of spurs on C1 and C3. Our occupational therapist worked on me Thursday and Friday, bless her, and that helped some. I made an appointment to see a chiropractor on Tuesday after work to see what I can get done. This has been an on and off again thing. It flairs up enough sometimes where I go to the doctor and I had several bottles of muscle relaxers so I decided since it was the weekend I would take one and see if it would help the muscle spasms and resulting headache I have been getting daily. I got to digging and I had three bottles. Two were from 2007. I'm glad I looked before I took one, lol. Went through and threw out a bunch of prescriptions that were out-dated. My boss said she will get me a new chair this week. That will help a lot. I also was very bad yesterday and ate a slice of pizza... twice. One for lunch and one for supper. I won't be doing that again. I still feel guilty, lol. I didn't even look it up. I know it must have been a kazillion calories. And all that fat, yuck. The puppies are getting really big. Since there are only 2 they are fat little butter balls. They are about 4 weeks old now. I haven't named them this time. Trying not to get too attached but they are sooo cute. They are little Rat Terriers. One boy and one girl. Ya'll have a good day.

Yeah, I slept all day friday....woke up feeling like crap. I think it is my allergies tho. Not feeling too sporty today either....need to go to the outdoor mall in Collierville but not sure I will make it.
