Since my surgery, it takes me forever to be full blown sick, I will have symptoms for weeks then all of a sudden it hits me. Everyone in my house is sick, my daughter and her boyfriends family too.
I think some of it is I am not out in public since not working....and my son brings the sniffles home from the school and it grabs ahold of me.
I am not near death....just feel like it.....feel like the triple d twins are trying to escape.....my incisions even hurt and I cant wear a bra....thank god they are perky pups.....sorry Steve
ok....I did modify myself a hot toddy,,,,,I used rum....of course my fever broke and the husband thought I wet the bed and elbowed me and called me old and asked if I needed a diaper....
I will be at the walk.....trust me.....I wont miss it.......

Honey, I'm so sorry you're this sick. Gee., you were sick before I left! If this continues, is there a clinic you can go to that has a sliding scale for payment? Gotta take care of yourself.

Still recuperating from the trip. Last night my San Diego Chargers played Monday Night Football against our rival Oakland Raiders. The game didn't come on until 9:15 our time, so we DVR'd it and watched the rest this morning. Wasn't pretty, but they won. Fortunately I don't have to be at wor****il noon, so I'm still sitting around. I did get a crock pot of chili made for Gary. Have to work late tonight so he'll have dinner when he gets home.

Honestly, I PROMISE to register before the walk. PROMISE, PROMISE, but $$ is super tight (even before the trip to Dallas) so much that I canceled my nail appointment tomorrow. Something I haven't done but maybe twice in four years. So you know it's gotta be bad!

Anyway, just wanted to say I hope you get to feeling better real soon. Also ya know, the last time my husband had a cold, I fixed him a couple of hot toddies and he started feeling a lot better. Might give one a try.

I cant sleep.....this virus of whatever is no fun.....I sweat....wake up......I cough....wake up......my body hurts....wake up......
I cant go to the dr cuz I have no insurance now......
I am 4 weeks no cokes......I had some sprite because I am not feeling well and hoped it would settle my stomach some......ewwww that was gross......I am a COKE drinker.....not Sprite, Pepsi or Dew or Dr. P, so there is no worries of me transferring my habit to another soda.
I gained 2 pounds since putting the cokes down....
I think it is peri menopuase....night sweats, mood swings....bit*hy, crazy cycle, oh wait.....thats called raising a teenage son and raising my husband.....oops.....
anyhow......its raining......again.......

There was no week in review as I caught something from Sebastian ( my son) on friday and I have been up and down all weekend.....nausea, chills, sneezing...fever....body aches...sore throat...
anyhow, glad Dallas was fun for you....glad your back....

yep....I like my snuggie.....I have breast cancer pink from wal mart.....
just dont try to walk around in it......so many people try and then complain about it.....its a blanket not a pancho......
I am not sure what I have but I got ot from my son on Friday....thats why there is no week in review...I just dont feel up to it

The rain from Dallas home was terrible. There were many miles of under 50 mph, then it cleared up a bit, but started again around Arkadelphia.
Lots of work to do now since we're just a few weeks away from Gary's sisters coming. Nothing like company to get the house clean and things that have been put off fininshed.
Gotta get to the grocery store before the rain starts up again. Hate taking groceries to the car in the rain.

Topic: Monday review, back from Dallas to reality
Good morning everyone!
Whew! So glad to be home, but so very grateful to have had the opportunity to go to Dallas to bond with the amazing women from the Over 50 Forum. There we were, seventeen crazy gals celebrating one lady's 65th birthday. Most had met, four of us were new to the group and welcomed with opened arms and hearts.
I stepped out of my WLS box, wondering how I'd do without my scale and fitday(no time to journal) and found that life DOES go on, and even though I ate things I wouldn't normally, and drank (yes, alcohol!), I know that today the vacation is over, and these feet are back on the track!
Today is my 3year surgiversary and I plan on celebrating it by going back to the rules and reflecting on where I was and how far I've come.
So.....how is YOUR Monday?
