My husband is going to pick me some of these up tomorrow while at Sams. Any new flavor is a "good thing". I am post of 5 days and already tired of the protein drinks. LOL.

I am not 100% sure on this but I heard ABF did. Tyson's is big in this area, but they DO NOT cover wls. I will keep an ear out and let you know if I find anything.

Blessings for a great day

personally, IMO, I think you might be getting TOO much protein.  Two protein scoops, two protein bars plus your meals could put you into the danger zone.  JMHO

Hi~ I've not been here in quite some time. Troubles at work & others put me from my lowest of 191 back to 220....I'm back to 202 currently (Thank God).  I always need a goal in order to exercise...so Dr. Baker helped me at my yearly check up...I'm going to do the Little Rock 1/2 Marathon in March!  I'm walking/jogging 3-4 miles, 6 days a week- and trying to get the last 45 lbs off.  Is anyone else participating in this?  I'm in Hot Springs & would love to find a workout buddy.  I've been going it alone for the past 3 weeks.

I won't have surgery until the summer. I am a teacher, so I'll have a long while to recooperate. What type of surgery are you having?

Hi Kristen,

I'm Deb.  I live in Little Rock.  I have never been to an over eaters annonymous, I probably should.  I am waiting for my surgery date, probably will be Nov 4 or Nov 7.  The nurse who schedules the surgeries was out ill last week.  Hope she is feeling better.  Yeah, lets keep in touch and be each other's support.  Did you have your surgery yet?

Take Care,

Deb

Topic: Protein Shakes found a great one!!
Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share with you a great protien shake I have found and has 30 grams of protein and 3 grams of fat.  They are called Premier Protein.  They do not have the icky after taste or the water down taste the others have.  This tastes like chocolate milk for real.  They are very filling and with having to do the liquid diet, this protein shake is delicious.  I will be using this after my surgery as well.  With having to get 60 grams of protein a day after surgery, 2 protein drinks and you are done at 30 grams per carton.

I have googled them and read up on the product at their site.  The only place I can find this product in my area is at Sam's Club.  The cost at my Sam's club is just under $18.00 for 12 protein shakes, so that makes each protein drink approx. $1.50 each.

Take Care,

Deb
